SWORN ENEMY veröffentlichen "Seeds Of Hate"-Video und kündigen Europa Tour an

 

 

Nach einer erfolgreichen Nordamerika-Tournee mit den Thrash-Veteranen Sacred Reich, kündigen die in Queens, New York, ansässigen Hardcore-Metal-Schwergewichte SWORN ENEMY die erste Europatournee zur Unterstützung ihres gefeierten neuen Albums "Gamechanger" an.

Tourauftakt ist am 31.07. in Prag, die kompletten Daten findet ihr weiter unten.  Es sind die ersten internationalen Auftritte seit der Europatournee im vergangenen Jahr zum 15-jährigen Jubiläum ihres von Jamey Jasta produzierten Debütalbums "As Real As It Gets".

"Wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir nach Europa zurückkehren und einige Songs von unserem neuen Album 'Gamechanger' spielen können", sagt Sänger Sal Lococo. "Wir sehen uns im Pit!"

In Verbindung mit der Ankündigung der Tour hat SWORN ENEMY ein neues Musikvideo für den "Gamechanger" -Track "Seeds of Hate" veröffentlicht.

Lococo sagt: "Wir hatten viel Spaß, das Video für 'Seeds of Hate' in Brooklyn an einem meiner Lieblingsorte, The Kingsland, zu drehen. Unzählige Freunde kamen, um zu helfen, und Bryan Bishop und seine Crew haben fantastische Arbeit geleistet. Wir hoffen es gefällt euch allen!"

Produziert von Robb Flynn (Machine Head) und gemixt / gemastert von Zack Ohren (Suffocation, Fallujah, Warbringer), verschmilzt der knallharte "Gamechanger" gekonnt Metal, Thrash und New- York-Hardcore.
Anfang des Jahres war die erste Single "Prepare For Payback" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O62popkpkO4) einer der meist gewählten Songs bei "Devil's Dozen" auf dem "Liquid Metal"-Kanal von SiriusXM. SWORN ENEMY wurde erstmals von Hatebreed-Frontmann Jamey Jasta unter Vertrag genommen, der 2001 und 2002 die ersten beiden EPs der Band auf seinem Label Stillborn Recordings veröffentlichte. Er produzierte auch das Debüt-Album der Band, "As Real As It Gets", das von Lambgoat besonders gelobt wird als als "music that inspires you to want to beat the living piss out of the next unsuspecting person who walks in the room.". Das Album wurde 2003 von Elektra Records veröffentlicht, ein Jahr, in dem die Band unvergessliche Auftritte auf Tournee mit Ozzfest ablieferte. In den letzten 15 Jahren haben SWORN ENEMY fünf weitere Alben veröffentlicht, und tourten mit namhafter Bands, darunter Anthrax, Mastodon, Fear Factory, Sepultura, Suicide Silence, Dying Fetus Earth Crisis, Madball, Biohazard und Hatebreed.

SWORN ENEMY Unveils 'Seeds Of Hate' Video, Announces 'Gamechanger' European Tour

On the heels of a successful North American tour with veteran thrashers Sacred Reich, the Queens, New York-based metallic hardcore heavyweights SWORN ENEMY have announced the first European tour in support of their acclaimed new album "Gamechanger." The trek - the group's first international performances since they embarked on a European tour last year celebrating the 15th anniversary of their Jamey Jasta-produced debut album "As Real As It Gets" - kicks off July 31 in Prague, Czech Republic. In conjunction with the tour announcement, SWORN ENEMY has unveiled a new music video for the "Gamechanger" track "Seeds of Hate."

Produced by Robb Flynn (Machine Head) and mixed/mastered by Zack Ohren (Suffocation, Fallujah, Warbringer), the hard-knuckled "Gamechanger" expertly fuses metal, thrash and New York hardcore. SWORN ENEMY was first signed by Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta, who released the group's first two EPs on his Stillborn Recordings label in 2001 and 2002. He also produced the band's full-length debut, "As Real As It Gets," memorably praised by Lambgoat as "music that inspires you to want to beat the living piss out of the next unsuspecting person who walks in the room." The album was released by Elektra Records in 2003, a year that saw the band deliver memorable performances on tour with Ozzfest. In the 15 years since, SWORN ENEMY has released five additional albums of punishing metallic hardcore and toured with a number of notable acts, including Anthrax, Mastodon, Fear Factory, Sepultura, Suicide Silence, Dying Fetus, Earth Crisis, Madball, Biohazard and Hatebreed.
